AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT

The Lobby

As you step into the lobby, you will immediately be transported back to 18th century Bonn, Germany- the home of Beethoven. We know out patrons will soon be hearing Beethoven's 33 Variations, but what about the other 689 musical compositions he wrote? Our live pianist will hand select a few of his most popular works to delight our audiences with this inspiring pre-show concert.

While listening, patrons will be encouraged to walk around and enjoy multiple displays highlighting the life, times, and works of Ludwig Van Beethoven. How well do you think you know the multiple composers of the 18th century? Step into our sound proof booth and take our computerized interactive quiz! Register your email and subscribe to our mailing list to get a special prize and rank your score! This will increase will be a great way to entertain our guests and increase our subscription base.

Finally, make sure you stop at our cafe' to try some of the authentic german foods that you will hear about during our production. This will give our audience a slight immersion into the culture and the feeling of being abroad. Vegetarian options will be made available. Check out our gallery below to learn more.

Within these notes you will find a short and truncated synopsis derived from our extensive one listed on this site. You will also get a brief overview of ALS and Diabelli's variations to ensure our audiences complete contextual understanding of the play's material.

BUDGET $200

-Food is in collaboration with local restaurant.

-Archive material is being borrowed in an educational partnership with a museum

-3 Guest Speakers & Pianist each receive $50 travel stipend and season subscription for following year. The ALS Hope foundation receives 20% of the net profits from that evenings show as a donation.
